Paintings inspired by the world around us. Working from the richness of the world around us I illustrate and paint to capture the ethereal moments and the memories of places. Taking the colours and ideas from what makes a home? to the sea and lands where I grew up I try and capture the feeling we get from a memory of a place, a moment in time a snapshot. A NOTE FROM THE ARTIST…
My art is simply inspired by the elegance and beauty I’ve seen in the world around us. Born in Cornwall and now living in rural Herefordshire, I was and have been privileged enough to benefit from the coast and country with all its offerings. I have always wondered over the natural environment, buildings and landscapes I have seen and loved. There is always something that catches my imagination.
Through creativity and experience of teaching art and illustrating I visualise the scenes that play out before my eyes using light and imagination in different media. Please check out my gallery .
